I am an Africanist and professor of Anthropology at Cleveland State University. You can access my professional webpage here: http://academic.csuohio.edu/hoffman_b/
My husband, Michael Short, is an environmentalist who has worked against climate change with the Clean Air Conservancy in the USA and the United Nations Environmental Programme, headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya.
Paulette Walters has a B.A. in Anthropology and has traveled in Kenya and Tanzania.
We all volunteer our time for FEWA.
While living in Kenya, we met many women who had never completed primary school, but were bright and talented, and needed help to be able to return to school. These women inspired the creation of FEWA.
FEWA is assisting women to complete their education in Kenya and Liberia. Please help us help them.
In 2007, FEWA was granted full non-profit status as a 501(c)3 organization. Your donation may be entirely tax-deductible.

With your assistance, FEWA can offer support everywhere in Africa where women are held back.
